Conference will gather together experts and activists in order to find new ways on promoting and improving citizen engagement in municipal planning processes. During the conference Centre for Public Policy PROVIDUS will present their latest research - "Citizen involvement in preparation of municipal planning documents: Evaluation of Latvia's municipalities". In addition to that, participants of the conference are invited to participate in discussion panels, where such topics as current citizen involvement in Latvia's municipalities, citizen engagement trends abroad and cooperation between civil society and municipalities will be covered.
