Centre for Public Policy PROVIDUS will scout projects in Latvia for the Innovation in Politics Awards
What's Innovation in Politics Award about?
The Innovation in Politics Awards recognise courageous and creative political projects in Europe. The aim of the competition is to create a growing network of the best minds in politics with a view to sharing knowledge and promoting the exchange of best practice at all political levels and across borders and party lines.
Over the past four years, a combined 4,000 European citizens have selected a total of 330 finalists and 33 winning projects from more than 1,500 submissions. From 2017-2019, all finalists were given the opportunity to share ideas and experiences at networking events in Vienna and Berlin, and were honoured at a gala ceremony. To date, 1,600 guests from the political sphere and from all over Europe have attended.

As of today, the Institute has established a community of more than 5,000 politicians throughout Europe, who participate in our programmes and provide their know-how and experience to
their peers. In all our activities, we apply our unique method: identify best practice, develop core insights and localise them, and implement innovative political work for specific tasks.
